Born on December 4th, 1977, the gregarious Sagittarius Kristopher Aaron Finch, better known as “Finchy,” has always had a passion for performance. From a young age, he excelled both as an artist and an athlete. At 16, Finchy moved away from home to pursue a junior hockey career, and by 20, he found himself in Calgary, Canada, where he expanded his education in business and trades at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Finchy then traded his skates for a microphone, forming his first band and becoming renowned for his “all or nothing” stage presence and soul-powered rock ‘n’ roll vocals. With his initial band, Cry Baby Fly, he honed his craft and by 2010, began recording, writing, and producing music. Collaborating with esteemed figures like Juno Award-winning engineer Danny Patton of Airwaves Studios and Jeff Martin of The Tea Party, Finchy continued to build his impressive resume. He has shared stages with notable acts such as The Headstones, Bush, and Jocelyn Alice, captivating audiences at venues ranging from McMahon Stadium and the Stampede Festivals to Rocky Mountain resorts, Alberta rodeos, and local club circuits in Calgary. Now a proud Calgarian for over 20 years, Finchy makes his living as an artist in renovations and interior design, while still finding time to engage fans with live musical performances that leave no attendee doubting his passion or talent. Always seeking new heights, he is currently promoting the recent release of “FINCHY – Early On Sunday” as well as his previous EP, “Shoot The Lights Out.” Finchy’s journey is a testament to his relentless pursuit of artistic excellence and his unwavering dedication to his craft.
